CAIS News Mailing List Subscription
The Italian Studies Canada News mailing list is a point of reference for Italian Studies and a source of announcements and news about the profession. It is open to members and non members. Use the form below to sign up and get started. Please, fill in with as much information as possible. Name and last name are necessary. Accounts without proper information will be suspended.
Please be aware that signing up for the mailing list is not the same as becoming a member of the Canadian Association for Italian Studies.
Anyone wishing to be a member should visit the Membership page.
If you are already a paid member of the Canadian Association for Italian studies, the subscription to the mailing list is included with your membership.
Signing up above will let you receive all messages sent to the CAIS mailing list. You may also submit messages to the list moderator for review to be distributed to the entire mailing list. Please note: posting to CAIS News requires subscription to the service.
To post, (must be a member of CAIS News), please, send an email to italian.studies.canada@gmail.com. Submissions should be in plain text format. Attachments, if present, should be in either PDF, JPG or PNG format.
When submitting messages to the list, please consider the following points of etiquette:
- Keep messages on topic and appropriate.
- Choose a meaningful subject line - it increases the chances of your message being read.
- Whenever possible, keep your messages concise and to the point.
- When forwarding information from others, don't give out private e-mail addresses or contact information without approval.
- Refrain from spamming or advertising paid products and services.

CAIS News uses your email address solely to send you timely information on conferences, publications, job postings, events and developments within the field of Italian Studies and interdisciplinary investigations in related subjects.
CAIS News does not sell or trade your personal data.
Subscription to CAIS News is either voluntarily, (CAIS News Subscription only) or included with your regular CAIS Membership.You may unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each e-mail.
